The computer department laboratory is classified in two different Level or department/sections i.e the Junior Section and the Senior Section.

A. Junior Section:

Introduction:
There are 16 computers with highly equipped configurations and accessories like speakers, headphone and so on.

Objectives:
To make accessible of learning with interactive ICT integrate learning.

Methodology:
Demonstration and illustration of subject or the course matter with the help of software based on e-pustakalya.

Learning:
Practice polish of whatever activities or topics of different subjects that the students learn in the classroom.

 

B. Senior Section:

Introduction:
There are 30 computers with high configuration settings and different accessories required for the education procedures. Students of Classes IV-X are using this laboratory for their practical sessions.

Based on the curriculum, there are three level using this lab.

1. Classes IV-V:

Objectives:
To make the children computer literate.

Curriculum:
Introduction basic knowledge of computer systems regarding hardware and software.

Methodology:
Demonstration and illustration of different application software like PC LOGO, Office Packages and Paint Brush.

Learning:
Familiar with use of computer accessories, concept of programming logic through PC LOGO.

 

2. Classes VI-VIII:

Objectives:
To make the children to gain advance learning in Computer and MS Office Package.

Curriculum:
Introduction different advance application like MS-Office Package(MS-Word/Excel/Powerpoint), Adobe Package(Photoshop,Indesign) and Basic HTML and introduction of Basic concept of Programming Language-QBASIC.

Methodology:
Demonstration and illustration of different application software like Office Packages,Adobe collection and Basic concept of HTML and QBASIC programming with lab practical.

Learning:
Familiar with use of advance computer software with the concept of Basic programming language/logic.

 

3. Classes IX-X:

Objectives:
To make students gain knowledge about advance hardware peripherals (different types of scanners/printers/storage devices) and advanced software.

Curriculum:
Introduction to different advance hardware peripherals (input /output/storage devices) and advance learning in MS-Office Package Package.

Advance programming concept in QBASIC language.

Methodology:
Demonstration and illustration of different application software like Office Packages(advance learning).

Extensively use and practice of writing programs using Q-BASIC language.

Learning:
Familiar with uses of advance computer peripherals and advance learning in MS-OFFICE package.

Software development concept using QBASIC.
