The Junior Red Cross Circle along with the Coordinator, Mrs. Durga Karki, were taken to Nepal Healthcare Equipment Development Foundation (NHEDF), located at Baluwatar. NHEDF is looking after victims of the 2015 earthquake who were discharged from hospitals almost immediately due to lack of space. They are providing them with post-trauma recovery, and have been helping to rehabilitate the victims by providing free shelter, food and psychological support. The students observed the environment, gathered information, and interacted with the officials and the victims as well. They were very touched by their stories and this visit turned out to be very fruitful.
