On the occasion of 23rd Wildlife Week (Baisakha 1-7), the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation with the collaboration of National Trust For Nature Conservation organised a series of inter school activities in which Saugat Maharjan stood third in the Photography Competition and Kanchan Dhaka stood third in the Art Competition. In the spirit of generosity Saugat won a cash prize of Rs. 3000 and contributed half of his winnings to the Triyog Friends of Zoo Club whereas Kanchan won a backpack which she donated to the initiation of the Triyog Community Service Club and SAATH, Project Cinderella which aims to identify young girls and sponsor their education.
